AR Rahman has completed a whirlwind of a US tour where he has had several concerts. While returning to his hometown, he bumped into his mentor, Ilaiyaraaja, at an airport. The Oscar-winning composer shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen traveling with Ilaiyaraaja in an airport buggy. He wrote that they are returning from different countries, but their destination is always Tamil Nadu.

During his childhood, AR Rahman worked in Ilaiyaraaja studio and learned the chords of music from the maestro. Today, they are among the best composers in the world.
On September 1, Rahman took to Instagram to share a video with Ilaiyaraaja. Wearing black jackets, the two can be seen traveling in a carriage inside the airport. He commented on the post, “We are coming back from different continents..but the destination is always Tamil Nadu #Tamilnaduilayaraja_official from #Budapest @Rahman from #Usa #Canada (sic).”

AR Rahman is currently blessed with the success of his recently released film Cobra starring Shyan Vikram. He is now awaiting the release of Punyen Sylvan from Mani Ratnam which includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shayan Vikram and Trisha.
