Cameron Jackson spent three seasons on the Memphis roster. On Thursday, he announced he would enter the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining.
It didn’t take him long to decide where to go next. As you can see below, Jackson revealed on his Twitter account on Friday that he will be playing Billy Napier and Florida:

A member of the Tigers recruiting class of 2020, Jackson played in 9 games in his senior season. In 2021, he played in every game, making 9 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
He again played in every game in 2022, tallying 41 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. He made a career-high 8 tackles against Navy on September 10.
Now, Jackson is headed to the SEC, where he will be an important piece of the puzzle for Napier’s defensive line. Meanwhile, the Gators will look to improve on 6-7 (3-5 SEC record) in Napier’s first season, a season that included a modest 30-3 loss to Oregon State in the Las Vegas Bowl—the Gators’ third straight loss.
