Diamond is ranked as the No. 55 recruit in Alabama for the class of 2021 at 247Sports Composite. He was committed to Louisiana Tech but switched to Auburn during the 2021 early signing period on December 16, 2020, before Brian Harsin was hired the following week.
In his time at The Plains, Diamond never saw the field. He was redshirted in 2021, his first season as a freshman. On October 26, 2022, Harsin confirmed to reporters that Diamond was no longer on Auburn’s roster. Diamond did not participate in any games with the Tigers before leaving the team.
