With more celebrations than ever before, Gaylord National Resort will open holiday experiences five days before! Plus the return of ICE! And fan-favorite activities like ice skating and gingerbread decorating – newly added experiences include a super gingerbread display, a Christmas-themed pop-up bar, a NITRO PEPSI pop-up featuring holiday-themed drinks, and more. Gaylord National will also offer its popular Christmas Wings – decorated with holiday décor to give home the feel of the holidays. The festivities will open to the public on November 20. Visitors can enjoy the following newly announced experiences:
Overnight guests can celebrate the season with the whole family and book one of the resort’s festive Christmas dream suites. This cozy home away from home comes complete with lights, socks, a Christmas tree, and even a sweet holiday treat! Guests can enjoy the resort’s famous lounge light show from their comfortable balcony. Want to bring extended family? Not a problem! Add to Connecting King Room or Queen Double Room. Christmas Dreams Suite also includes free valet parking.
The lovable, larger-than-life Gingerbread screen is back this year! Visitors will enjoy the Washington, D.C. antiquities like never before, as they were constructed from over 300 pounds. of baked gingerbread. The mega show village was designed and built by a team of 9 pastry chefs and takes about three months to build.
The Smooth Lounge by NITRO PEPSI will showcase custom cocktails and mocktails with holiday style including The Snowman and The Glitz. All drinks will include Nitro Pepsi, the first Nitro-infused Cola with two delicious flavours, Draft Cola and Draft Cola Vanilla all served in a special Nitro Pepsi trophy.
For guests looking to impress at their next holiday gathering, Gaylord National’s resort chef will lead a 101 cooking class at Holiday Hosting. Participants can expect to enjoy a festive libation and learn how to prepare three delicious appetizers including holiday scrambled eggs, chorizo and Manchego pretzels, and vodka-cured salmon entrees. This hands-on interactive course is fun and delicious.
Holiday sweets and savory treats are on the menu at the Holiday Sweet Shoppe. Visitors can check out the Holiday Sweet Shoppe for delicious hot chocolate or eggnog and choose from an impressive selection of chef-prepared desserts to take home and enjoy with the family.
Christmas Tree Farm Bar reminds us of the ancient tradition of choosing the perfect Christmas tree with the family. This Instagram pop-up bar will bring visitors together to enjoy fun photo opportunities and lively holiday cocktails like Mistletoe Margarita and Gingerbread Mule.
With so much to see and do, visitors may choose to stay overnight and enjoy some special perks for overnight guests. Extra Cool Hour and Chill Pass allow overnight visitors to enter ICE! A Christmas Village and front entrance to attractions.
In addition to the holiday fun, Gaylord National’s Old Hickory Steakhouse, revered for its premium gourmet beef, will serve a fixed menu for seasonal holiday steaks on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day December 24 and 25.

Storytime with Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Traditions would be the perfect break to enjoy T’was the Night Before Christmas and share your favorite Santa Claus cookies.
