(my guess is that the camera filter fitting is probably a finer thread with a shallower pitch.) ive alreday considered adding a 2 to skywatcher ed80 focal reducer adaptor in the train as this has a 2 filter thread in it. 46mm is 0.75mm pitch from leica. hoya. b+w and everyone else.

0.75mm is typical for filters from 37 to 82mm. so it covers any filter youre likely to encounter. Now i am a little uncertain and do not want to spend anymore money on either lens until.
