ELKHART – Elkhart County Extended Housewives will host a “Homemade for the Holidays – A Community Wide Event” from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 29, at the Home and Family Arts Building, located at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Each participant will receive a booklet containing all the instructions and recipes. The cost is $7 per person, payable at the door. A prepaid option is available by visiting bit.ly/FallHolidayProgram for the registration form.

Housewives will show/share various holiday crafts like shower tray gnome, Charcuterie garland, reused oil lamp, holiday card, fall coaster and more. There will be a food section with zucchini bread, sweet party mix, keflis and additional food items.

Members of the event’s organizing committee are Pia Plosser, Deb Pebble, Patti Janofsky, Kim McCreary, Sherry Weaver, and mentorship educator Emily Krist.
