Another destination is dropping its pandemic-related requirements for international visitors.
Government officials on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia announced Monday that pre-testing and vaccination requirements for COVID-19 to enter St. Lucia have been rescinded.

In an emailed statement from the St. Lucia Department of Health, officials confirmed the removal of testing and vaccination requirements.
This means that screening and vaccination requirements for entry into Saint Lucia are no longer necessary. The Ministry of Health said that all arriving passengers are required to download, print and complete a health screening form to reach St. Lucia.
Protocols for determining physical distance and mass crowds have also been removed. Capacity restrictions on public transport have been removed but mask wearing is required. Hand and temperature checks upon entering commercial establishments are optional and at the service provider’s discretion. Businesses reserve the right to carry out public health measures as required.
Additionally, wearing face masks is optional but still highly recommended to reduce transmission of COVID-19.
St Lucia joins a handful of other island destinations that are beginning to loosen their restrictions and protocols as tourist routes come back to life.
