Salma Hayek, teen daughter, stepson all smiles in rare ski vacation snap: ‘Looking for snow’

Salam Hayek posted a rare selfie of the family from a ski trip on Wednesday, saying they were “looking out for snow.”

The photo gives a rare glimpse of Hayek’s daughter Valentina Paloma, 15, and stepson Augustin James, 16. The group dressed for cold weather as they sat in a gondola in front of a backdrop covered in snow but mostly mountains and green hillsides behind them.

Hayek, 56, is engaged to Valentina, billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault who heads up Gucci and parent company Balenciaga.

Augustine’s mother is model Linda Evangelista, 57, Pinault’s ex-girlfriend.

“I don’t know how you did it, but I think the cool thing is that they have such a huge selection of things,” Hayek told the New York Post earlier this month about the kind of Christmas gifts the kids get. “So at Christmas I love them opening millions of gifts but some very small and meaningful, some very silly and hilarious, and then they get one or two really cute gifts.”
