The fun, entertainment and joy of the FIFA Fan Fest™ at Al Bida Park in Doha (https://fifa.fans/3Ez71CO) will now be felt across the world as FIFA announced today that six global destinations will host events via satellite during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
Thus, Budweiser will be the first commercial affiliate in FIFA World Cup history to host the events of the International FIFA Fan Fest, along with sister brands Corona and Brahma, in six cities around the world: London, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Seoul And Dubai. Budweiser, Corona and Brahma, as well as non-alcoholic drinks, will be the festival’s signature brands.
The satellite events will complement the main FIFA Fan Fest at Al Bidda Park in Doha, a newly reimagined experience that will create a destination for all fans on site in Qatar and provide a great experience of football, music, food and culture.
All FIFA International Fan Fest events will feature live matches from the FIFA World Cup Qatar™ as well as various entertainment activities, including performances by DJs, local musicians and artists as well as FIFA Legends performances. Selected events will boast immersive 4D audio that will convey sounds from matches in Qatar to local events.
The FIFA International Fan Fest venues will be linked to Mother Qatar’s event through the site’s FIFA World Cup branding, exclusive content from the host country and unified storytelling on FIFA digital channels, notably FIFA+ (https://fifa.fans/ 3Eqt5Q6) , which will serve as a digital content hub for audiences to watch, experience and interact with others around the world.
The FIFA International Fan Fest will open on select dates and times throughout the tournament, starting on November 20. Individual event concepts vary in size, with pop-up activations as well as main events with a capacity of over 10,000 visitors. All FIFA International Fan Fest events led by Budweiser and Brahma will be open only to consumers of legal drinking age, with general admission and VIP access either free or for a fee, depending on the market.

In September, FIFA (https://fifa.fans/3rPHLk1) introduced a reimagined fan destination and on-site entertainment experience to fans at future FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup events called the FIFA Fan Fest. Starting with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at Al Bida Park in Doha, this comprehensive, multi-dimensional event will provide new ways for fans to celebrate their shared passion for football while experiencing the best of music, entertainment, local culture, food, gaming and lifestyle in a truly festive environment.
This unique commercial licensing model established by FIFA allows new and existing stakeholders to organize events in major cities around the world. FIFA will expand the licensing model to include future events and plans to announce more locations for FIFA International Fan Festival events in due course.

Beyond Al Bidda Park in Doha
Qatar will also host a wide range of cultural and entertainment options during this year’s FIFA World Cup, with more than 90 special events scheduled to take place on the sidelines of the tournament. The Doha Corniche will be one of the biggest destinations for fans, as it will offer roaming shows, cultural activities, food and beverage kiosks and retail outlets along its 6-kilometre route, with the capacity to host up to 120,000 fans daily.
Other activities will include the daily “Welcome to Qatar” show, one of the largest water and fireworks shows in the world that will feature music from the official Qatar 2022 soundtrack, Qatari composer Wael Bin Ali and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. Fun rides and other attractions at Al Maha Island in Lusail will also be open to fans, as will the 974 Ras Abu Aboud Beach Club and the Haya fan zone on the Lusail South Promenade, Arcadia Spectacular, and Aravia from the MDL Beast Dance music festivals. Last-Mile’s cultural activities will also include more than 6,000 performances in 21 locations, providing entertainment for those on their way to the stadiums.
