I went equipped with the sony a6000. with the only lens being the kit lens. I absolutely love the design of the a6000. so i intend to purchase it as my first decent camera. but i know nothing about lenses.

The basic a6000/a6300 kit lens. with a max aperture of f/3.5. is not ideal for low light. Affordable sony lenses go as low as f/1.8 — a big.
